Hello, I'm Chris!

Hello, my name is Chris, and my field of knowledge is public relations and communication. I recently graduated with my master's in communications focusing on public relations. I currently have a 4.0 GPA where I have completed courses in both Communications and Human Resource Management. I previously attended Molloy College, now Molloy University, as well as Farmingdale State College and Nassau Community College. I have earned multiple degrees, one where I do not practice the discipline, while the others can be associated with communications. At Molloy, I earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies focused on psychology and sociology. I have been named on numerous semester honor roll lists as well as having earned spots on three honor societies from two different schools. These honors societies include psychology, sociology, and English.

It took a lot of soul searching and trial and error to finally find what I was looking for in life. It has been a long and bumpy ride, but there is nothing that interests me more than the human mind and its approach to social situations whether it is on current events or possibilities. I love to write and have a good sense of how to approach a variety of aspects professionally and personally. Media is a passion of mine and having a chance to represent a company or write for them would be a dream come true. I am also very creative and witty, so appealing to a reader and making an impact is right up my alley. I like to see myself as a leader who can guide a group of people to success. Seeing those around me succeed is just as important to me as my own success.

My Story

Besides what I stated above, I have many more tales to share. I am a native of Long Island, New York and have lived here my entire life. I have always enjoyed the slow-paced lifestyle of the suburbs as well as the beauty of nature. City living is far outside my expertise, and I am very much not used to it all. Growing up, I always lived with a house full of dogs and on occasion, other critters such as birds. I currently have four dogs and a cat, and let me tell you, the house sure is busy! We also care for two feral cats that call our front stoop home. If you haven't figured it out already, I am an animal lover. Their company sure has made my life fuller and often times it is a lot easier to deal with than some of the people out there!

My hobbies are vast and make me seem well-rounded. I really enjoy storytelling, especially if it is based on fantasy and science fiction. If historical references are made, I also find that quite interesting. I love reading about how humanity adapted and changed over the last few decades and even centuries. The ideas of life-changing inventions truly fascinate me. This can include anything from ship building to the physics of airplanes. I love when hard work and determination comes together to create something amazing.

I love to watch restoration videos as well as documentaries that go into further detail about current events as well as how things came to be. Learning and curiosity about many things is what makes us grow as a community.

I love sports especially football and baseball. I tend to live my life with the thrill of competing on my mind, not to be better but to test myself and be challenged, win or lose. I am also quite a nerd with an obsession with Nintendo and anime. I am not ashamed to admit that! I love the story lines of many of these shows and games! I can really get caught up in the plot if it is good.

Finally, I love classic rock and much of my writing is inspired from the music I listen to. It gives me the peace and determination to create my own work. Anything from 1950s to 1980s is my kind of music whether it is instrumental, rock, punk, metal, and pop. I just love the feels it brings!
